True healing requires looking at the whole person—your mind, your body, your nervous system, and your unique life experiences.
That is why I utilize an Integrative Mental Health Care model. Rather than forcing you into a single rigid treatment framework, an integrative approach allows us to blend evidence-based, compassionate modalities tailored specifically to your unique needs, goals, and pace.
Standard approaches often treat psychological symptoms in isolation. An integrative model bridges the connection between mind, body, and brain, offering several distinct benefits:
Whole-Person Healing: We address the root causes of distress—not just the symptoms—by incorporating biological, psychological, and somatic (body-based) perspectives.
Personalized & Adaptive: Your therapy evolves as you do. We draw from different toolkits depending on where you are in your healing journey.
Somatic & Nervous System Focus: Healing isn't just cognitive; it happens in the body. We prioritize helping your physical system feel safe enough to process and release past stress.
To help you heal deeply and sustainably, our practice integrates three powerful, evidence-informed frameworks:
1. Polyvagal Theory (Nervous System Regulation)
“Understanding your body’s internal alarm system.”
Polyvagal Theory helps us understand how your nervous system responds to stress, trauma, and safety. By learning to recognize states of fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown, we work together to restore a sense of grounded safety and emotional stability in your daily life.
2. Internal Family Systems / IFS ("Parts Work")
“Welcoming and understanding every side of who you are.”
IFS views the mind as a collection of different "parts"—such as the inner critic, the protector, or the wounded inner child—led by a core, compassionate Self. By approaching your internal world with curiosity rather than judgment, we help resolve inner conflict and heal deep-seated emotional wounds.
3. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
“Reprocessing past experiences so they no longer control your present.”
EMDR is an 8-phase structured therapy that uses bilateral stimulation (such as side-to-side eye movements) to help the brain reprocess traumatic, stuck, or distressing memories. It allows past experiences to become neutral memories rather than active triggers.
By weaving these approaches together, we can:
Regulate your nervous system first (Polyvagal), ensuring you feel safe and grounded.
Explore and compassionate connect with your internal emotional landscape (IFS).
Process and release underlying trauma memories safely (EMDR).
Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, or deep internal conflict, integrative care offers a holistic roadmap back to balance.
